As Finance Manageer you will be a key part of the Group Marketing team and will be the single point of contact for all finance and performance related activities for all functions under Group Marketing, namely, CRM, Ancillaries, Customer Programme, Customer Experience, Mobility, Insights, Content, Digital Marketing and Analytics. In this role you will support the Group Marketing Finance Business Partner to deliver functional area strategy and to optimise financial and business performance. As single point of contact for finance for all Group Marketing activities you will provide strategic finance support.
You will drive accountability for and monitor progress towards achievement of targets & synergies. To ensure delivery to time and budget you will propose and champion ideas and actions.
You act as an active influencer for early thinking to ensure that all major business decisions are taken with sufficient understanding and buy-in to their financial consequences.
Another part of your role is to help to produce the annual Strategy/5YP for Group Marketing and ensure the team is fully bought in to the business/financial plan for their respective areas
Where appropriate, you will ensure source market buy-in to the business unit’s strategies from a financial perspective.
Moreover you will support the development of robust business cases and establish and maintain effective on-going internal control of all capital and non-capital expenditures through the establishment of clear project accountability and ownership.
Another responsibility is making sure that clear cost flow processes are in place for each marketing FTE and that the recharge models works effectively. We will also look to you to support all marketing teams (CRM, Insights, CX, CP Branding, Content) with BAU queries as needed.
We are looking for a colleagues with excellent analytical skills and the ability to deal with complexity and ambiguity. You are a pro-active and problem-solving person that is comfortable in working independently. It is no problem for you to communicate in English on various levels of the organization. If you speak German, Dutch or French? That will be a plus but is not essential.
To be able to perform this job optimally, you need to have the following knowledge and experience:
- University Degree in Finance, Economics or similar (Qualified Accountant);
- 3-5 years proven experience in relevant finance areas, e.g. as Financial Controller, Finance Analyst or Manager;
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, Excel and Powerpoint in particular.
